Luke James was interviewed by Tammy White in 2015, and he has stuck to his word until this day. The interview is as follows:

Tammy: "Who influences you?"

James: "My mother, Life, love, and music."

Tammy: "How do you feel music has evolved over the years? and How does your music contribute to this change?"

James: "My music contributes to the change, well there’s never been a Luke James, there’s never been someone like me, so what I do is my personal view on life, and I express it through music, so it’s not like anything else when there are more creative people, more artists it's so many other artists that aren’t being heard, but hopefully I open the door for new artists that are soulful and artsy."

Tammy: "What advice would you give others pursuing music?"

James: "I would say keep the faith. I know it sounds cliché, but it is truly a necessity, and you must have that in your life. You must believe that this magical thing will happen for you. It will happen for you. You must surround yourself with like-minded people who lift you up and vice versa and be good to people. Because karma works in so many different ways, you don’t want anything to be the end of your success. And some people know who know more than you. I’m quoting something so listen to them anyway."

Tammy: "What is the hardest thing about being a musician?"

James: "There’s nothing tough about it. It's like breathing to me. It is what I am, it’s who I am, and I was designed to do it. So there's really nothing hard about being a musician, so yeah."

Tammy: "What are your day-to-day responsibilities?"

James: "Wake up, eat food, brush my teeth, take a good shower, wear something presentable that speaks for how I feel so I can be productive without overthinking. How I look to me, for me. I do something I haven’t done yesterday. Make someone smile. Bring joy into somebody's day. Something. That’s good for your karma."
